The contest is open to anyone and everyone (except for me), including EdenFantasys Staff members! Here is what I am looking for:
A sensual artistic rendering that can be done in any of the available Medias that is at your disposal. This can feature whatever you want find sensual. This can depict nudity. I would rather keep away from the Hardcore Slam and Jam sex art works (this doesn’t mean penetration can’t be tastefully done). This is especially essential for those of you who are using photography as your media. You do not have to stick to one media; you can use several in the piece.
Here are the rules:
1. No image shall depict anyone under the age of 18 (nude or clothed).
2. No image shall depict bestiality.
3. No image shall depict corpses/cadavers in any form or shape.
4. No image shall depict injuries that would or could lead to death.
5. No image shall depict violence towards a specific group of people. (Race, Gender, etc.)
6. No image shall depict rape (of any kind).
7. The image should be 100% original, and should not have parts that were taken from anyone else works (photography, manipulations, books, etc.)
8. Only one entry/art work per person.
It should be noted that, BDSM and categories such as this are totally acceptable! I am just trying to keep this away from anything dealing with and the likes of “snuff”.
All Gay, Lesbian, and Transgender works of art are all welcomed; this contest is open to ALL sexual orientations and ALL works that depict ALL sexual orientations. I also would like to stress that, to some, religion is very important, and I will not censor or take away your right to express your religion (whatever that may be) in your artwork. Since Religion is such a touchy subject please take caution and please make it tasteful (with this community, I really do not have to say that because we are so good at these things, but I have to say it)
So here is how it will work. You all will be given a month to submit your final work, all work must be submitted before December 9th, 2010 at 11:59pm (essentially December 10th 2010. I reserve the right to allow late entries that have adequate reason. Such reasons include family emergency and other circumstances that cause them to not submit on time. This allocated time will last 10 day, but you MUST have a very good reason, and the reason can not be “I was not finished”. After this allocated time I will set up a poll and the community will vote on the winners.
So here is how you submit your art, you will send me a link to your uploaded picture (Imagesshack is fine) and then send me the link via PM and I will make a collective post with all the works. Depending on the amount of entries I may have to make a Gallery for your works. I would rather post them all at the same time so that it would be fair. I am not asking you to be totally secretive, just would like you not to do a full public release. I am sure some may have some awesome pieces out there that are already public, while I encourage you to do a new work, it is understandable if you would want to submit your previous work. I will accept it, but I still would like to stress that I would love New works, that is why I am giving everyone a month to do this.
I want this to be a fun and entertaining contest, where we all can share our creative sides, and maybe share our thoughts on each others work. This should be helpful with a positive attitude. Critiques are allowed but please be calm and very polite when sharing them.
