It was nine a.m. on Sunday and the stores were already packed with people doing holiday food shopping. Wow.

I did most of our Thanksgiving shopping last weekend on payday. I've realized a couple of things I forgot (cranberries!) so I'll be going back for a quick trip sometime this week.
11/18/2012
Yup, got that over with.
11/18/2012

I'll probably do mine tomorrow.
11/18/2012
going out to eat

Got the turkey Saturday so it'll be (mostly) thawed by Thursday. The rest of the shopping will be Tuesday night at the 24/7 supermarket. It won't be as packed at midnight as it would be during daylight hours, so my anxiety shouldn't be a problem. Although my mother will enter Annoying Mode ...

I'm eating at my moms and no, she hasn't gotten all the grub yet.
11/19/2012
I still need to get a couple of things.
11/19/2012
I'm eating elsewhere.

Nothing like waiting until the last minute.
11/19/2012
We got most everything. Just a few odds and ends left. And, of course, wine.
11/19/2012
Do it later today. Then baking dessert
11/20/2012
Not really cooking since most of my family will be gone and I'm spending the day at my boyfriend's family's house. But I did get a few things to make a pumpkin pie.
