As we are all trying to "go green" nowadays, what is your opinion on digital, emailed wedding invitations (like evite, only nicer)?

It's really up to you to decide how you want to send your wedding invitations!
I think the traditional paper invitations are really nice since they can be kept as a keepsake to remind you of the event. It really depends on what you're looking for in a wedding, I suppose!

I think that's a great idea! You don't have to wait for return acceptance cards in the mail. You get an instant yes or no.

The old fashion card, it's always nice to see what people come up with, and being able to keep it is a definite plus.

Actually, I plan to use these as well as paper invites for those without email or facebook or some other form of networking or communications online. Although the paper invites are typically kept for scrapbooking or memories, electronic invites can easily be printed out. I printed my cousin's out and keep it in a shadow box! I took the picture and put it on a memory card and printed it out at Walmart in the photo section so it is glossy and beautiful!

I like getting an invite in the mail. I'm big on keepsakes.

I like the keepsake. And it's fun to get stuff in the mail! We did a really simple DIY invitation with a cute Halloween poem, but then included a 4X6 engagement picture. The closer the family member was to us, the more photos they got.
