A good friend of ours just lost their child in a terrible car wreck a month ago.
Of course they are in a horrible state of depression right now and don't want to decorate, celebrate, do anything for Christmas.
All their friends, like us, are having a hell of a time finding a card appropriate to send them. There are NO cards we can find that offer thoughts of Christmas without "Jolly, Joy, Merry, Happy...etc" in the wording.
We got a card which was blank inside and wrote some words, but it was a crappy lack of options choice.
We think there needs to be cards for people facing Holiday grief or memories of such at this time, like "May this season bring you peace in it's deep and lasting meaning"....or some such more "serious" tone?
What is YOUR take? Are there any other "holiday type cards" that the card makers are NOT making???
