How early do you start your christmas shopping? I was thinking about getting mine started this month

I've already started making a list of what I want to get people for Christmas, but I haven't actually bought anything yet. I usually start buying things in mid-September because I like to spread out my spending.

I start buyting the day after Christmas with all those day after Christmas sales and then whatever throughout the year. I wait on the kids until Black Friday because they could change their mind from now and then.

That is a brilliant idea. I would never be able to hold on to a gift that long, everyone would be in possession of their gifts by April.

I keep things in mind throughout the year. If I find something I know one of my friends will like, I'll buy it and save it for Christmas (or their birthday, whichever comes first).
