I'm in love with my husband of 17 years. We've been together for 20, since I was 17 year old. You can do the math... Together we have two beautiful girls. One of whom is quite a bit taller than me. The other seems to be looking at me daily to see if she is!

A long time ago, I used to be a CPA. These days I'm a preschool teacher. Love children and BeautifulDreamer is right that I'm both nurturing and a peacemaker. That's part of what I do. I teach communication and conflict resolution skills. I just earned a Master's degree, although I'm still writing the blasted thesis!

As for sex... I'm incredibly sexual. I've had some very unique experiences in my life that I never regret. I love life and living. I've lived through when sex goes wrong and trying to fix it. I know what absolutely incredibly sex is.

I love reading, playing and being silly. Right now I'm obsessed with a 4x4 Rubiks cube. I'm a quilter. I'm very competitive- and would love to know if anyone plays Mario Kart on the Wii! I love to talk... In the end, I'm a family person.

I guess I'll share.

I've been married for a little over a year to a man I'm madly in love with. We had only been together about 10 months before we got married, but it's been going extremely well. He's the only man I've ever been with (my first boyfriend, only man I've ever had sex with). And believe it or not, I was his first girlfriend and the only woman he's ever been with. We don't have any kids, though we want a couple in the next few years. We moved when we got married, so all my family is a while away from me.

I don't really have a career or exciting job at the moment. Just a cashier. But hey, it's easy money. I'm usually a quiet person, very shy, and a bit nervous sometimes (or a lot of the time). And of course, I love sex. Becoming a reviewer here has definitely helped us explore our sexualities together.

I love video games. I started playing Nintendo when I was about 5 years old, and I've loved games ever since. Oh, and I have Mario Kart for the Wii. I don't play it much, but I do sometimes. I freaking love the XBox 360. Woohoo achievements! Hehe. I don't have any friends where I live, so my video games are good for passing time. And they're awesome.

I'm a 20-year-old university student majoring in literature, with minors in Asian studies and political science. I want to be a professor more than anything in the world, but I'm worried that I won't have enough money or I won't be good enough...right now I'm taking 6 classes and have a part-time job, and I want to keel over and DIE right now.

I'm allergic to monogamy! LOL.

People who imagined me as a sex-positive "hippy chick" aren't too far off. If you need a face:

I love photography, make-up, books, food, Bollywood, cultural studies, and RuPaul. I am a devout Christian (no, really!) who voted for Obama and is PISSED about the gay marriage bans. I think Twilight is a godawful book series and all of the advertisements for it make me want to yack. My favorite color is orange, followed closely by black. I have very sparse eyebrows and gigantic teeth. Rats and cats are the best pets.

Damned cute! My daughter loves the Twilight books. I haven't read them. I'm pissed at the gay marriage bans as well. I live in CA.

Not trying to annoy or offend you you, but how can you be old enough to be allergic to monogamy? Most people your age say that they are allergic to getting married!

I've taken a HUGE break and about to head back to uni studying international relations and psychology. I have three different careers depending on what time of the month you ask me, PTSD psychologist, war journalist, diplomat are some key ones.

I'm guilty of loving the twilight series. And Harry Potter.

@Boohoo was slightly guilty myself.

I'm insanely in love and we enjoy playing house when it doesn't involve cleaning or washing dishes.

I LOVE sex, any type and try any sort of fetish at least twice (first time jitters and all that.)

I'm often described as 'exotic' although who knows what that means.

I'm extremely liberal but loyal to a military that doesn't even belong to my own country.

I rock at guitar hero and rock band, get motion sick when I'm just watching first person shooter games and am addicted to reading.

I'm a professional dancer when the gigs come by (no not THAT kind of dancer.)

I'm a 21 year old absolutely in love with my Boyfriend, Bucking Bill. We've been together a year and a half. I love sex. A lot. I'm pretty open about what I like and what I don't like. Bill allows me to explore things that I haven't in the past.

I'm a nursing student (RN) graduating in December (Yikes!!). I am continuing my education immediately pursuing my MSN. I'm scared and excited all at the same time. I've been working in Veterinary Medicine for six years. I'll leave once I secure a job as a RN.

I live in the country, have my entire life. I really love it. I enjoy traveling, reading, sex, sex talk, mixed drinks, tv (house, law & order:svu, grey's anatomy). I tend to stay at home rather than go out. Family is a big thing to me. My little brother (19, so not so little) is my best friend.

Because I much prefer polyfidelity. Always have, always will. If I happen to have one partner at a certain point in time, that's fine, but it won't stay that way by choice.

And let's be honest: there are 40-year-olds with the mental maturity of a 3-year-old who have never done or seen anything. I don't think age necessarily dictates maturity OR experience.

I have been married to the most wonderful woman in the world for 33 years. I do air quality work in California. My wife has taught school for 32 years, and now works with unwed mothers. We both love sex, and look forward to it when ever we can. I thought as we got older sex wouldn't be as important. Sex now is as good, as it way when first married, or maybe even better now, because of more experience. Plus its great exercise, and keeps us healthy, and young. This is a great post subject!

Finding out how long Fun Lover has been married makes me feel young.
I don't want to reveal too much because I'm pretty closeted about my involvement here in real life, but I'm in my mid 30s and have been married for 13 years to my partner. We have four kids and the oldest is 10. My wife is a stay-at-home mother and I am an engineer with a master's degree. We have been exploring sex together for the entire time we have been married and it just keeps getting better and better. We are very committed to each other and to our family.
It's interesting getting to know people better here and I appreciate that you started the discussion, Devilbluedress.

I feel like this is a bit of a strange time to do this, but my mind needs a break.

I'm 22 and I've been engaged to my partner for coming up on four years now, and we've been best friends for 6 years. wedding is planned for next october. I'm a college student majoring in creative writing and I'll be graduating in about a month: which is terrifying. Eventually, I'd like to get a degree in human sexuality and write books and give educational lectures on healthy, fun, safe sex and in particular BDSM.
I am a Domme who enjoys her very uppity sub (what the fun in punishing them if they aren't such brats that they don't deserve it?) and we enjoy a very wide range of scenes from traditional punishment scenes to much more subtle power play.
We're a very gender-fucked couple with both of us born female and neither of us identifying as particularly male or female. our sexual identities are very fluid to allow for either or both of us to range on any end of the gender spectrum at any given time.
We're also pretty kinked for medical play. maybe i have a stethoscope and a lab coat. you don't know.

we both love to read and write. its a huge part of our lives. we're both very into studying postmodern philosophy and my partner hopes to be a writing/lit/philosophy professor. some of our favorite authors would be foucault, danielewski, derrida, edward abbey, don delillo, junot diaz, sherman alexii, pynchon, and mary gaitskill. when i'm in the mood to read pop fiction, the kushiel series by j. carey is an amazing portrayal of BDSM in a fantasy setting and extremely well written.

the chick in the mask on my icon is me, but from a long time ago. I'm a pantheonist- meaning i acknowledge and honor all gods and in my own way i am very religous.
one thing that most people i chat with on the internet don't know is that often a pretty big part of my life is informed by my having hypermobility disorder, often called hypermobile type ehlers-danlos syndrome which is a ligament condition i was born with that leaves me with very unstable joints to the point where on a daily to weekly basis i dislocate several joints in my body. it also leave me extremely flexible so i guess there is an upside. it's a daily part of my life and i have my ups and downs and i'm very grateful that i am in better shape now (i'm walking around like nothing is wrong , as this time last year i was confined to a wheelchair. But i try not to make a big deal of it and just take things day by day. still, i'm pretty much a sex maniac. ^_^ who is almost always in the mood.

on a more serious note.
currently, i'm not actually in the mood at all, and i won't be on here much for a bit as we've had a death in the family and i'm away from my place to be with my partner's family. so sorry to bring the fun part of this down at the end, but that's sort of where my head is at the moment.
it is really great though to hear about everyone else

Firstly, @ Saurou- I am so so sorry to hear that. I hope you find peace soon.

I'm really new to EF, but I love the site (the store, the forum, reviews, all of it) and I'm looking forward to becoming more active in the community here as time goes on.

I'm a 21 year old college student, majoring in pharmacy. In high school, it always seemed like a profession that would make sense for me, but not until last year did I realize that my true passion is animals. But I've already put too much time, effort and money into pharmacy school to quit and start something new, so hopefully when I'm older I'll have time to follow my heart and work with animals...preferably dogs. I grew up with dogs and absolutely love them.

I've been with my current boyfriend for almost 3 years and he is the absolute love of my life. We've been in a long-distance relationship this whole time because I got to school in Rhode Island and he went to school in Maine then moved back to New Hampshire (where we both grew up) when he graduated. He was the only guy I'd had sex with until last summer when I was date raped at a party by a "friend". I didn't tell my boyfriend for months because I thought it was my fault and I could have stopped it. When I finally realized that what had happened was wrong, I told my boyfriend, but he didn't understand. He didn't think being under the influence of alcohol and drugs was a good enough explanation and he thought that I had willingly cheated on him, and so he broke up with me. But after a few months he called me and said he couldn't stand being without me and he was sorry and that he wanted to get back together. After that it was like we had a new lease on our relationship, and things have been amazing ever since. (Sorry if that whole bit was too much information... It's just a really defining moment in my life and not something I really feel like telling people I know. So it feels nice to be able to tell an unbiased party.)

As far as my personality, I'm pretty shy and quiet around most people, even most of my friends. Only my boyfriend, family and some very very close friends get to see the real side of me, the fun side. 'Cause I'm so quiet I can sometimes come off as bitchy or snobby (One of my roommates thinks people are actually scared of me, which wouldn't be surprising.), but I'm actually really nice.

That's about all. I really want to get to know people around here!

Well, what I do most in my free time is play World of Warcraft. I'm an officer in a guild of about 150 people and I spend my Saturday nights arranging raids, handling drama, and drinking with 24 other people in the attempt of trying to "down" bosses. Surprisingly, I play with other adults that are between the ages of 24 and 50 and it's more fun than I could have ever imagined. I'm a kid at heart and I don't think I'll ever grow up.

For the past 3 years I've been an audio engineer which means I'm able to record my own music. I've been a songwriter for 6 yrs, a pianist for 14, and a classical vocalist for 12. I haven't played out in over a year and sadly, I left my last band 2 years ago when my husband was transferred by the Navy to VA. I hate the "South" as I'm a born and bred Yankee and I desperately miss my Red Sox and Patriots!

I've been married for 5 years, I have one little boy, and for the past 2 years I've unsuccessfully tried to have another baby. And it goes without saying that my world revolves around the internet and without it I'm lost.

@Saurou Wow. Thanks so much for sharing so much of you. I feel like I know you. I'm sorry to hear about the death in your family. Hugs.

@LikeSunshineDust Welcome to Eden. Hope you find a way at some point to work with the animals you love.

@SleepingDreamer Do you know of any good mashup software that would work for my daughter for Christmas? Sex and babies go hand in hand. Good luck, and hugs!

It depends on her budget, the features that she wants, and her knowledge of software. What's her main goal?

Sorry I didn't see this earlier!
