for wintery TV specials and movies. Some of my favorites are the old stop motion animated cartoons, especially The Year Without a Santa Clause. I'm very fond of the scene featuring Snow Mizer, Heat Mizer, and the the very fabulous big band jazz number. I didn't make a poll because there are too many to list, but what are your favorite wintery holiday cartoons?

the american dad christmas episodes. what other show will have christmas morals like "Walter Mondale must never become president" or "if you upset your wife and she becomes Jesus' girlfriend, sacrifice yourself to save her 7 years later, after the anti-christ is defeated." American Dad treats christmas like most shows treat halloween, outlandishly and not restrained by canon.

I'm not really fond of the stop-motion shows, but like shows/movies/video games that take place during the season.
Example: I dig out the first Parasite Eve (1997) and play the shit out of it for the month.
Nightmare before Christmas is good for two holidays!

I love all Christmas shows. I will watch them all year if my husband would let me. Tonight I am super excited because we get to watch A Christmas Story. Stupidest movie ever, but I freakin love it and so do my kids.

I get really excited about the Christmas Doctor Who specials. When I was a kid, I loved watching How The Grinch Stole Christmas.
