I've always been a huge fan of anime and manga. Basically ever since Sailor Moon first hit American TV when I was in kindergarten (BTW, they're remaking the whole series). I'm mostly a fan of manga though since I can bring it almost anywhere and I like to read. For a long time I had a hard time watching anime and finding shows I liked, but lately I've been getting back into it. Especially since some companies have been re-releasing some of my childhood favorites (such as Fushigi Yugi).
Watch some anime, watch some hentai.
Hate manga. Not a fan of the 'yaoi' or 'yuri' genre. Over feminizing and emasculating characters to fit black and white roles is irritating and degrading.
Yea, like Snarknemesis, I'm picky about them too. Always gives the first episode a chance, but rarely go on. Thought every once in a while when it comes together like Steins;gate or FMA Brotherhood, it's amazing.
I'm a complete and total anime, Manga and videogame otaku. AND PROUD! I've seen more series then I can count! Read over a thousand volumes of Manga! Name a series chances are I've at the very least heard of it. ^_^
Here's an anime themed Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays!
I'm a HUGE anime fan. I read manga sometimes, mostly hentai manga and anime if I'm gonna go that way. I need my seasonal anime though I don't watch much TV so anime has become the thing I watch the most. Kinda hard to talk to people though since they all watch things like Big Bang Theory and Doctor Who.
I prefer yuri heavily over yoai. Yoai is really awkward to read and really seems only about making boys seem either too strong or too weak. So they will have buff guys with weaklings or two weakings or two buff guys. Hardly ever are they normal and they are always pretty boys.
I used to be a huge fan of Bleach, now I just have favorite characters and I'm happy the anime came to an end. Now just end the manga. I can't stand Naruto and Soul Eater (many popular anime make me cringe) because their fan-base kills it.
I often get mad when people are like "TOTALLY NEW ANIME ON ADULT SWIM" or they prefer english dubbed over subbed. I feel like they are not in it to get into all anime. Just the most popular ones, which I think the best ones usually aren't the most popular ones.
Both though I haven't had much time to indulge in either since I've been busy with work and school. Since school let out though I'm going to try and watch through a few different animes and read through the Sailor Moon mangas I got recently. ;P
