I strongly dislike her writing but it has nothing to do with the presence of rich people. I just find her plot lines to be predictable, over-played, and somewhat shallow.

LOL this is me too. My mom loves her, has always loved her, which resulted in me never giving her a chance really until I was like 25 and a friend at work told me how awesome this one book of hers was..so I tried reading it, it was just so boring I couldn't even finish it.
