Gary asked me the other day if I could recommend a good comic series, beside "The Walking Dead".

I was at a loss...I couldn't think of one.

I've been reading "The Walking Dead" for about two years now and having really found much else out there to read. I'm not a big fan of Marvel and DC because they seem to have severe allergic reactions to keeping storylines straight and sticking to cannon.

Dr. Who has a series out, but I'm leery about starting to read it a year or so in.

What are you reading now? Any suggestions?

Can you recommend a place to get a good deal on The Walking Dead Comics? I want to get them but don't like the idea of spending 30 dollars on one book.

I'm not all that into comics. I only read Star Wars ones. The two I'm reading at the moment are Knights of the Old Republic by John Jackson Miller (incredibly hilarious!) and a new series by John Ostrander and Jan Duursema (great team), Dawn of the Jedi.

Some of my favorite non-superhero comics are Transmetropolitan, 100 Bullets, and I Kill Giants. Y: The Last Man is also pretty good. It all depends on what sort of genre you're looking for.
