How do you have your books organized?

I have a bookshelf but there's a lot of overflow.

Library Style, of course it's more of a rough layout for non-fiction. I have 4 book cases, they are ordered within the bookcase, but the bookcases don't follow the order left to right. Then again, I worked at a library for years, so I know most the Dewey system.

Alphabetical order, according to the titles. Any other way would just confuse me when I'm tired and want a specific book.

Stashed in my Kindle. My real books, I keep them lined up on a shelf in my closet. I don't ever read books more than once, so I give most of them away afterward or send them to my bookstore guy for credits. However, there are some books like my bible, inspirational books and my Kurt Cobain journals that will never be given away. I keep them on my shelf in the closet.

I just don't care to re-read most books, so it's best to let them go, clear up space and let someone else have the chance to enjoy and pass on. That's how I prefer doing it.

I don't really have any organization. I do keep books by the same author together but that's about it.

Alphabetical order by author's last name, then alphabetically by title for each author.

I also do it this way. Though I do separate fiction and non-fiction.

By author first, and then by genre. Not really in alphabetical order either way - sometimes within an author group I'll organize them by publication date.

I have them organized by size, author, and then ABC order.
