If you like expansive shooters than yes, buy it now. It's 30 hours for one playthrough and after the first playthrough you can do it again with all the enemies becoming harder and still level up. So that's 60 hours of fun for each character and there are 4 characters: 240 hours to play and level up without any DLC's, so def worth the price tag. If you have live it's a great game to play with friends. I love it, better than the first borderlands if you played that one.

Well... if you are tech savvy (not even much), you can acquire it in other ways via PC. Then just take an HDMI cable to plug into your TV. Or have a trusted friend do it.

I did play the first Borderlands and I loved it! That's why I was wondering about that.

@Rod Ronalds, why did you sell your PS3? :o

@Mwar: I have a really bad PC, so I don't have that option. :\ Also I'm afraid to pirate anything more than music. XD

a little late for this, obviously, but i couldn't make it through the first map in borderlands 1. i hate games where you have to collect things to upgrade. too much searching...too much back and forth to the doctor or store or whatever.

Neh. I've finished the game on two separate characters, maxed both.

It's a shallow and repetitive game. There's no actual depth to it and the re-playability is next to zero.
