Well, I opened a saving account with my checking. Mostly because bank gave me money to open a saving account at the time. I don't have to pay for it, so why not.

I actually just opened my first of both. The savings is set up to be the back up for our checking account. But our savings is our fund for a rainy day.

I just have a checking account, closed my savings a few months ago as it was just draining me due to fees (I couldn't keep it above $100.)

I just have a checking account. I should really set up a savings account too but I never get around to it.

I have one of each with my savings being the backup for the checking if I don't have enough.
