What was your class song from high school? Do you remember it? Do you even remember high school?

It's only recently I found out that we had a class song (I thought we didn't have one). 'Hakuna Matata' from The Lion King. I'm still trying to figure out how the Class of 96 got their class song from 1994; but it sounds like something our goody student council would come up with. But it fits - we were too slackass to have a 10th year reunion. *smirk*

Yeah, we had an 11 year cuz we missed the 10th!

Mine was Green Day "Time of your Life". Still a good song. Our class of 96 had "The Freshmen" kinda surprised yours didn't have it.

Yea we had one. I totally remember the one from Jr.High it was the Eve 6 Here's to the Night. I believe our H.S. one was something by Green Day...the hit at the time I'm sure something like that. It wasn't Good Riddance (Time of Your Life).

Verve Pipe's Freshman? God that is such a depressing song! And so is Good Riddance lol.

Most of my graduating class went on to stay in the same town and have about three or four kids (usually by different people). The big things to do were off-roading, the bowling alley, and watching 'Beavis and Butthead'. Sophistication was not a high priority of Mel-Hi (our school nickname). The fact that my off-the-cuff naming of the school mascot 'Yucamere' has stuck for the past fourteen years is a testament to the redneck-itis I've been trying to get away from.

Personally, I thought 'Macarena' better suited my fellow classmates.

My elementary school one was "Graduation" by Vitamin C, we didn't have one in middle school. A lot of people were singing, "Breakaway" by Kelly Clarkson on prom night, though, even though it had come out years earlier.

We didn't have one for high school. For Grade 8 grad it was Our Lives by The Calling.

I don't remember my class song from high school at all... If we even had one. But ours from middle school was the Graduation Song by Vitamin C, if anyone remembers it. Oh so hilarious now looking back on it.

Probably, yes! Probably four years older, depending on when you graduated middle school
