Definitely want to see it, just didn't have time this weekend.

I saw it, and while I didn't love it, I didn't hate it, either. So much of it felt forced, though, and they threw in a whole bunch of extra things that weren't in the book that really altered the nature of the relationships between characters. They are making it into 3 movies, and it felt obviously stretched for time.

Yeah, I was worried this would happen by making three of them.

I haven't seen it because I'm worried the high frame rate will give me a migraine. Also kinda upset they did it in three because that's not necessary.

I saw it. I'm neither ambivalent nor stoked. It was pretty good. I was feeling a little bad that day so i didn't enjoy it as much as I may have, but it was neither something bad or worth writing home about. My friend got a little nauseous watching it when she felt fine before, so I don't know if that's related.
12/17/2012
I want to see it with my family.

Haven't seen it yet.

I went to the midnight premiere!
12/17/2012
We might call the babysitter and walk to the movies.

I went in knowing that it was going to be padded out and such, and I'm just enjoying it as a three hour tour (each time) through Middle Earth. It was more fun that way. Although the 3D gave me a headache.

I saw it last night in 3D (wearing two pair of glasses) and loved it.
They definitely padded the book and changed a couple things, but I can forgive PJ and Co. It's a tour of Middle Earth that is breathtakingly well done. I think Bofur was my fave, but I didn't get all the names matched to all the faces.
I like how they're expanding on the Necromancer story that was only referenced in the book a couple times. "Riddles in the dark" was almost perfectly done.

To be fair, I did love how "Riddles in the Dark" was handled.

was it in high frame rate and really enjoyed it although I have never read the book.

I am semi-interested in seeing it, but not enough to go to the theater. I'll wait for the DVD.

I want to see it again in 3D. We watched it in 2D because my friend gets sicks from 3D. So good!!
12/18/2012
Nope. I feel like it might be totally overhyped and I'm not that kind of nerd. I don't do fantasy stuff too well. I'll most likely end up watching it with my boyfriend when we have nothing else to do and it's out on DVD
12/19/2012
Little or no interest in seeing it.
12/19/2012
Nope, dont intend to see this one...
