Disney and Star Wars?!

Contributor: amenti amenti
You may or may not know that Disney recently bought the rights to make new star wars movies and plans to make a new one every 2-3 years mostly side stories "focusing on side characters."
Do you love star wars?
How do you feel about this?
Do you think they are going to ruin this beloved franchise?
Are you looking forward to the new movies or not?
Also who's your fave star wars character? (Mine's Princess Leia cause we share a first name and she kicks butt.)
Do you think people are right and Disney is planning on turning Princess Leia into the latest Disney princess?
Please comment below and thank you.

Here's a funny video of Disney Princess Leia.

I've actually never seen a Star Wars movie before, but I would think they're in good hands with Disney.

Known for several months since it was announced.

I consider the series dead since they released Episode I, so it doesn't bother me. I'm more bothered by Disney's treatment of the Muppets.

It really could go either way. I still have a lot of love for Star Wars based on episodes IV-VI alone, so I'm eager to see what Disney and JJ Abrams do with it. While the company puts out some pretty banal stuff, keep in mind that Disney also put out The Avengers, all of the Pixar movies, The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, and other well-regarded classics.

I'm regarding this with cautious optimism.

Definitely going to give it a wait and see. They did the Avengers pretty amazingly, mostly by hiring good people and letting them run with it
