I just found out recently that you can even do that. I haven't got any books yet, but I'm on a waiting list for my first and I think I will go that route more often. It's great that they can offer something like that.

I just got a kindle fire for my b'day! Woo hoo! I have checked out ebooks from my library on my iphone or computer many times! Hassle free and no fines! I think I owe the library 3.00 right now. The last time I was late they couldn't make change. Here you have to pay your fine with exact change!

Since I work at a publishing house and get so many free paper books I just haven't even gotten to trying out my e-reader yet. One day though.

While I do a good bit of reading online, I do still prefer an old fashioned paper book.
