I like the Stones more than early Beatles, but everything after Rubber Soul, especially Revolver, is better than anything the Stones did.

I prefer the Beatles.

I like the Stones, too, (and Queen!) but no band in the history of pop music ever wrote or recorded better songs than the Beatles did, IMO. They completely transformed pop music in the 60s from awesome but inconsequential to earth-shattering and mind-expanding. Pop/rock music STILL hasn't caught up to some of the things they did.

I wish I could appreciate the Beatles more. I understand their impact on music, but they are just kinda hit or miss with me. I do prefer the Stones.
