I love Breaking Bad for its skillful combination of thrilling TV spectacle and acute, literary exploration of humanity. Its direction is rarely less than great, and it's probably the best-acted show airing today. The show's writers shift between black humor and genuine horror with ease and its style complements its substance without ever dominating it..

Basically, it's the best.
