Ahhh! This is my FAVORITE series of all time. Absolutely amazing. I can't believe how many people have never heard of it. I find myself recommending it all the time.

Also the Dark Tower, Discworld, The Lord of the Rings and (of course) Harry Potter.

My two favorites are The Lord of the Rings, and Dune. My only problem with Dune is that the last two books in the main series weren't as good as they could have been if they had been written by Frank Herbert, rather than his son.

WOT is wonderful, but I started it around book 4, and then have had to wait 1-2 years between each book since. When the author died, I was in a panic, since the series was incomplete. The person who has filled in is doing a great job though, and should finish the last book next year. I can't wait!

ohh thats awesome, I didn't know that. I read the Harry Potter books while they were still process and I hated writing. At least I don't have to wait anymore!
