Also, the first two Christopher Nolan films: Doodlebug and Following. They're both short and can be watched on YouTube, but they're incredible. I love me some Nolan.

I saw Shelter recently and enjoyed it. And let me add a vote for The Incredibly True Adventures of Two Girls in Love, because it's adorable and funny.

We just saw Get Low with Robert Duvall and Sissy Spacek. It was very good and really had that indie feel to it.
The ending was a little predictable, but it has some funny parts in it (Bill Murray plays a funeral director and Duvall is an old hermit who wants a funeral while he is still alive) and we really enjoyed it.
