It's a cartoon on the Hub, it had its second season premiere tonight and is a fantastic show. It's a dark comedy and what makes it special, is that while other shows either avoid dark humor, or address it subtly, Dan wears it on its sleeve. This is a children's show where the protagonist (not hero, anti-hero at best) has threatened arson on multiple occasions explaining that "fire is the cleanser." Further, rather than the hub's other hit show, My Little Pony:Friendship Is Magic, Dan's premise is revenge. to reiterate, the established premise of this show is (very) petty revenge on people, places and concepts. This includes, but is not limited to New Mexico, George washington, Canada, the beach and salvation armed forces. As such, parental groups do not care for it. link
