Have you gotten rid of cable?

I finally decided it wasn't worth paying for. I've been debating getting rid of it for a year or two but finally pulled the plug (except for the local channels). I know it isn't just me. A lot of people are doing this because everything's available online. Do you still pay for cable, or have you cut back?

I still have satellite, but it's the cheapest package you can get. It doesn't have the great channels like ESPN, TNT,USA, etc. but at least I still get the locals.

I don't think I could get rid of it. I have netflix and the internet, but unless I had a better laptop, I couldn't part with the cable.

We got rid of cable like half a year ago. Thought it would take some getting used to, but we barely even noticed.

I don't watch it, but the fam still keeps cable around. I could do without, though.

We don't even have a tv. Got rid of that awhile ago, and watch most of our stuff online.

We got rid of our satellite TV service and now use online streaming through a Roku player we have connected to the TV. We use the Hulu Plus channel on that fairly often. A lot of currently airing popular shows will have the last 4 episodes available for viewing on there, plus there's some older shows. This costs us like $8 a month versus the $60 a month for satellite.

my family has been using antenna for about 13 years, if not more.

i'm glad we got rid of cable a long time ago. prices are so ridiculous. we take that money and waste it on other stuff we don't need

We couldn't justify it anymore so we just have netflix now. Don't miss cable at all.

I live with other who use and pay for it, if I where living alone I'd cut it. With everything being online I have no need for it.
