I go once a month mostly because I live near a theatre that has "cheap nights' every week where tickets are about two bucks and I like the atmosphere.

A little bit more often than once every six months. I have a friend who's a film major, and every time we're both at home at the same time (i.e., winter break and summer break) we try to watch a movie in a theatre, followed by a movie at home.
