Indie Movies, Anyone?

Contributor: MissAdara MissAdara
The independent genre is one close to my heart (after horror), is anyone else a fan? Some of my favorites are:
-Wristcutters: A Love Story (2006)
-Safety Not Guaranteed (2012)
-Sassy Pants (2012)
-Mary and Max (2009)
-Dear Lemon Lima (2009)
-Pretty Ugly People (2009)
-Spork (2010)
-Struck By Lightening (2012)
-Cosi (1996)
-Metropia (2009)

And the list is ever growing!

I'm not 100% sure what's considered an 'indie movie,' but I think that Worlds Greatest Dad (dark humor) and Dr. Horribles Sing Along Blog count? I also really like Let The Right One In, I am A Cyborg But That's Okay, and Sound of Noise are all foreign movies that seem pretty 'indie.' The latter two are probably on Netflix!

I like Canadian films, which I guess would sometimes be considered independent?

Hard Core Logo
Masterminds
Last Night
Wilby Wonderful
Men With Brooms

I tend to revolve around Callum Keith Rennie and Paul Gross, as you might tell
