Before the season finale and possible reveal of who is behind the mask, does anyone have any clue as to who Amon is?
The only thing I can think of is possibly that Aang had 2 sons and Amon is one of them, which is why he knows how to take away bending like Aang and function during bloodbending. Remember, Katara would be his mother, so maybe she taught him how to nullify its effects.
Of course, they have only mentioned Tenzin as Aang's son, but I don't remember them saying that he was his ONLY son. Which makes my theory a possibility.
