I loved the Alex Cross movies with Morgan Freeman and saw they were rebooting the series with Tyler Perry as Alex Cross. Think it will be any good?

I'm not a huge fan of the movies, as I like the books much better. I don't think Tyler Perry will be awful, though.

I just don't think Tyler Perry can fill Morgan Freeman's shoes. He played the role very well.

movie adaptions for the most part are awful.
