Yes, I have read Plato, Socrates, Nietzsche, Descartes, David Hume, Immanuel Kant, Soren Kierkegaard, Sadartha Gautama. I mostly prefer to philosophize on my own and try to figure things out for myself. My favorite is Sadartha Gautama. I would consider his philosophy the perfect form of humanism if it wasn't for all the spirituality.

I can't stand it, find it pretentious when people give 'advice' which is all philosophical crap that isn't relevant to the issue just to try to sound smart, in my opinion, it's annoying
