Strange but great movies

I love weird and twisted movies. Recently I watched "Take Shelter" and "We Need To Talk About Kevin" which was simply amazing for what it was.
Have you seen anything that was kind of a underground hit lately that you would recomend?

Thumbsucker always struck me as a really strange movie with a twisted but good message. It's really hard to explain, but it has Keanu Reeves in it.

I also really like indie films like Heavenly Creatures, Ginger Snaps and Ginger Snaps Back; there's a movie called Intacto that is just the most bizarre movie about luck - acquiring it and using it to move past rounds of really strange games. It's in English and Spanish with both English and Spanish subtitles when necessary. I highly recommend it if for no other reason that to say you've seen it.

I love Ginger Snaps. And I just saw We Need to Talk About Kevin last night. I would recommend Willard. The remake or the original, because both are pretty awesome.

Hard Candy is tough as hell to sit through. Ellen Page is beyond amazing in that movie!

Ginger Snaps and But I'm a Cheerleader are both fantastic, under-viewed films. I feel like I've seen some really great indie gems that I should share, but I'm drawing a complete blank at the moment.

atch "Take Shelter" It's a bit bland, but holy hell is the ending worth it. Plus the performances are great.
