Does anyone besides myself enjoy sitting down and watching The Simpsons?
I cant believe they have made it as many years as they have, yet I don't find them boring. What are your thoughts?

I hate everything that the Simpsons stand for. This series should have been canceled a long time ago.

I don't watch it as regularly as I used to, but I find the show hilarious and if it's on and I'm flipping through the channels I'll watch it.

I have seen every episode since December 1989 (the first one). I refuse to miss it, and base my life around Sunday evenings. I have Simpsons tattoos and items all over my house. It's a little crazy. I'm completely obsessed, and feel that their family had more of an influence on me that my own. I'm way more connected to the characters anyway. Luckily I found a husband who shares my love, although sometimes I talk about them in a way that he thinks I need professional help!
I love them all, and the show, and the creators!

I could take it or leave it. I don't remember the last time I watched an episode.

I think they were a great show when the started and into the first 10 years. After around 1999 or so, I just lost interest.

Season 1-8 are fantastic 8-10 are pretty good while the last 13 seasons are worth seeing more than once and sometimes not even that.

I enjoy The Simpsons very much, though the newer episodes aren't shown regularly, so catching them is hit and miss. More miss than hit, sadly.

I still love the Simpsons, even the new episodes (although they don't hold a candle to the older ones). I grew up with the show. I can't really remember a time when it wasn't on.

The show might be getting cancelled. They're having a contract dispute with Fox.

I love the simpsons. I just like cartoons. They have been around longer than I have and I'm 22 years old. It just sucks you can't buy all the seasons. They let them out randomly and not even in order. They are mostly the newer ones too. I'd love for them to let out a complete collection. I'd spend about 100-200$ on that. I love the show.

This might sound weird... but quality of the graphics (I guess that's what you would call it) annoys me so much that I can't watch it.

I don't think it's weird at all, but I am curious. What's wrong with the graphics? They seem fine to me.

You want Simpsons graphics that look wrong? Go search for some of the Tracy Ullman shorts on YouTube. Matt Groening assumed that the animators would refine his rough sketches before animating them. He was wrong.

I love "The Simpsons." I much prefer it to "Family Guy" or "American Dad," both of which are just crass to be crass. (NOTE: I liked the original run of "Family Guy," so it's not a total bias.) My writing pen name is actually based after Lisa Simpson and my Yahoo! e-mail makes it obvious I adore Maggie Simpson. My brother and I have all the seasons that are currently on DVD and while the later seasons aren't as good, they're still entertaining.
