I knew to expect from past season finales that the last few minutes would end with some serious dram/cliffhanger, but it still surprised me. I was happy to see Sookie's Gran again. I wish the Sookie/Bill/Eric threesome thing had played out over more time before Sookie decided to break it off with them both. Well, I'm not fond of Bill so didn't really care about him, but I do like Eric and he looked so heartbroken when Sookie dumped him. I was really upset when Jesus was killed. I was in denial until his last scene, telling myself some miracle would happen and save him. I did like his scene where he came back as a ghost, meaning he isn't gone from the show completely. I knew the Debbie Pelt plot would go differently from the books since Eric already had his memories back, but I was shocked when Tara was shot in the head. That conversation early on about being old with Sookie on the porch with their grandkids doomed her. I guess it will be next season before we find out if Tara really is dead.

I think Tara HAS to be toast...The back of her head pretty much got blown off. I don't think she'll be able to survive that
I never read the books, so I'm confused about where exactly this plot is going now! If Sookie's not involved with vampires, what will happen then? I really don't like Sookie, so it's unfortunate that all the lovely, hot men in the show are so obsessed with her! Ugh! I adore Alcide...I'm glad he's rid of Debbie, but I can't believe Sookie just blasted her right there in the kitchen. The whole end scene was so intense.
What about the whole Jason and the werepanthers plot? That was the end of it? Really? He escaped and they just let him go? No werepanther Jason? No dramatic end to Hotshot? That whole thing was pointless and weird! Unless it's coming into play next season.
I also couldn't believe Bill and Eric killed Nan! I liked Nan! Even if she was a crazy bitch.
And now! OMFG, Steve Newlin's a vampire now? I think that's PERFECT. Obviously, Russell Edgington is back for next season
I love him too, even though he's the bad guy. He's the craziest son of a bitch ever! Cannot wait for next season.
