The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air or Family Matters? I would have to say The Fresh Prince! I love both but I love the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air more. Will Smith always cracks me up! How about you?

I liked both, but are pretty tired of them by this time. Lol. I think they were both great, clean, family-friendly funny shows! I miss that type of show. You don't see that kind of "funny" on TV anymore.

Neither appealed to me. I prefer more complicated TV shows with more realistic characters that don't stereotype people.

I like Will Smith, but I couldn't even force myself to watch The Fresh Prince. Hip Hop is not my thing, and my husband absolutely detests it. He'll turn off a sporting event if they play Hip Hop music. He's a musician himself and says he has good reasons for not liking this form of.... sound.

As an actor, Will Smith is a good guy. Funny and seems to be a good family man. I like him. I just didn't like his show.

As for Family Matters, as my husband would say, "I'd rather eat glass...." I don't like low brow humor. That Yurkel character set my teeth on edge, even in commercials.

Of those two, fresh prince. It was just a more interesting show to me, and I liked all the characters. Geoffrey in particular.

Of ones not on the list? Ghostwriter. I used to pretend I was Gaby.

They wanted to compare only two shows - but I know there were better ones in the 90's. Despite it being the 90's.

I definitely watched more of Fresh Prince growing up, but both shows were good. I even see it on TV in the mornings now since I usually have nothing better to do.

I have a soft spot for all the old TGIF shows, but between the two I'd have to pick Fresh Prince, hands down. Unless we're going to bring Saved By The Bell into the mix.

Out of these two I'd pick Family Matters. But Deeder brings up a good show with Saved By the Bell. That would easily be my top show. That or Sabrina: The Teenage Witch

I only ever watched like the last two minutes of Fresh prince of bel-air... and I've never seen Family matters.

i prefer will smith. cuz he's soooo cool. esp. in those ridiculous neon colored hats. locked and loaded.

Totally agree that they don't make those kind of shows anymore. Too bad.

I voted other because I really couldn't pick between one or the other. I watched them at different phases in my life. I watched Family Matters as a younger kid with my family, and started watching Fresh Prince as I got older.
