Mostly I wait, but sometimes the introductory price is a substantial discount. When that is the case I just go for it!

For games, I tend to wait unless it is something I've really been anticipating, or part of one of my favorite series. Most of the time with books, though, I go right for the hardcover!

It really depends on what I am looking to get. I know that there has been a few times that if I had waited, I would have been waiting quite a while. Then of course, there is the issue of "Do I need this for someone else? Is this for a special ocassion?" Some of the things that I get here are for family/friends for birthdays/anniversarie s or wedding gifts. So it really all depends. Then again, I have experienced ordering it because I JUST HAD to have it right then and there and BAM a few days later...guess what just went on sale? Yup! LOL.

Our library system has an amazing selection of new release movies and cds, and has a waiting list system allows you to reserve them in advance of release. Sometimes you have to wait a few weeks, but worth it. As far as buying goes, if I want something really bad I will buy it right away, but I can usually wait.

I generally torrent everything. For things i cannot torrent (some books), I wait for price to drop. Best sellers become penny sellers very fast on Amazon. There's no point in paying full price for them.

Depends how bad I want or need it and how much money I have at the time. Sometimes waiting makes it that much better. seems like things pass us by so fast now a days though.

We are giant coupon people. If we can get a discount we always do. If that helps out we will usually not wait for the purchase. If no discount or coupon we very well might wait for the price to go down but we usually find a discount code.

I always wait for some sale or promotion no matter what, as I am patient enough, and on sale I hurry up to get something sooner than other stuff only when I am worried that the item would get out of stock or get discontinued... Not doing it all the time though, but happen to do so sometimes... ^^
