Mostly I wait, but sometimes the introductory price is a substantial discount. When that is the case I just go for it!

For games, I tend to wait unless it is something I've really been anticipating, or part of one of my favorite series. Most of the time with books, though, I go right for the hardcover!

Our library system has an amazing selection of new release movies and cds, and has a waiting list system allows you to reserve them in advance of release. Sometimes you have to wait a few weeks, but worth it. As far as buying goes, if I want something really bad I will buy it right away, but I can usually wait.

Depends how bad I want or need it and how much money I have at the time. Sometimes waiting makes it that much better. seems like things pass us by so fast now a days though.

I always wait for some sale or promotion no matter what, as I am patient enough, and on sale I hurry up to get something sooner than other stuff only when I am worried that the item would get out of stock or get discontinued... Not doing it all the time though, but happen to do so sometimes... ^^

Other than the "necessary" consumables, I pretty much wait for everything to drop/go on sale/whatever. It hurts me to pay retail.

wait nothing is that important excpet for the things I need like every day neccassities and hygine/food ect. but things i just want i will wait until its as cheap as possible.
