Is the final season worth catching up on?

I watched the first 3 seasons (or was it 4?) and mostly enjoyed it, but have not seen any of the final season. The first 2-3 were very good and then like most good shows (nip tuck, Mad Men, Ally McBeal and others) it started to get a little crazy and beyond belief with characters reversing course and going over the top too much. Nip Tuck was fun for 2 seasons and then took a serious nose dive to the point of being unwatchable.

Anyway, I just saw it ended and I have not caught a single episode this season and wondered if it is worth watching?
