Back in fourth grade, I read "Gone-away Lake", and I've had a love of reading ever since. What book turned you on to reading?
What book would you say made you a reader?

It was the The Series of Unfortunate Events series that really got me into reading.

I'm not sure there was one specific book. I only got into reading recently (late teens) because I discovered that I really enjoy non-fiction.

Dr. Seuss?
My mom read to me all the time when I was little and I guess my love of reading probably stems from that.
If I had to name just one book, maybe The Sign of the Beaver...I vaguely remember reading that back in middle school and loving every page.

My mom would get me this series called Illustrated Classics, which basically presented abridged and illustrated versions of classical works, and I enjoyed them all, but the one that got me into reading was the volume dedicated to Edgar Allen Poe.
