What is the scariest movie you have seen and could not watch all of it because it was so scary?

The scariest movie I have ever seen and could not sit through all of it was Nightmare on Elm Street. My older sister & I went to Blockbuster and she got me the first one. I kept saying I want to see the Nightmare on Elm street series. She kept saying watch it with her to trust her on that. I am glad I listened to her. I was 25 and she was 26 this was five years ago.

I could only watch the first 30 seconds before I started screaming turn it off turn it off. I guess she knew it would scare me half to death if I watched it by myself. Since I was not married or dating anyone at the time. The image of Freddy Kreuger scared me half to death.

So I was wondering if anyone on here has started watching a scary movie and could not finish it because it was too scary.

I couldn't make it past the dvd opening screen on Saw. Marble Hornets isn't a movie, but it keeps me running for the hills every time I watch one-- I'm going through it at the slowest pace ever.

Ugh, I could barely even watch the saw trailers. The first time I saw Alien I freaked and changed the channel. God, those movie scenes haunted me for weeks. There is no way I am watching those movies again.

Wrong Turn was the one that got me most recently.
When I was a teenager, there was a movie called Have you checked the children? I think? Maybe, When a Stranger Calls? Anyway, the gist of the movie was the bad guy was calling the babysitter from in the house. This was way back when I babysat...I STILL don't like being in a basement! :p
Although, I am enjoying the movies on tv right now; I am very fond of Zombie movies.

I can't say that's ever happened to me. I've sat through all the movies mentioned so far, multiple times.

Only one, I was ten years old. It is an old movie named Car. Kind of like Christine but there was nobody driving it. Had nightmares for weeks.

Since then I have yet to see one I could not watch all the way through. Some of the paranormal movies give me the chills though.

Pet Cemetery when I was little. There's that hotel one that came out not that long ago...Room something or another (I've clearly blocked it from my mind) that scared me so bad I couldn't sleep for days. I will NEVER watch that movie again.

I don't think I've run across one yet that I couldn't watch all the way through (for scariness, not for sheer "it's so bad I fell asleep and missed the end"). There have been a few that I thought about for a while afterwards, but I think more because they were disturbing.
