I just heard that the rock band Rolling Stones celebrates 50 years together on stage! Today, Thursday, July 12, 2012 marks 50 years since Mick Jagger played his first gig with a band called the Rolling Stones, and the group is marking its half-century with no letup in its productivity or rock 'n ' roll style. Jagger himself is still the cool, rich frontman of the world's most successful rock band. The Stones have sold more than 200 million records, with hits including "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction," ''Street Fighting Man" and "You Can't Always Get What You Want."
Just as interesting is news that Mick Jagger has had SEX with over 4,000 women! Do you believe Mitt Jagger had that many encounters?
What do you believe is the groups best SONG or SONGS? Please name your favorite. If you want, post a picture of the album which the song was first recorded.
Do love the stones, and I could easily believe in Jagger getting away with that much. You can see how years of touring and drug use can catch up in the current picture though, yikes. Probably my favorite song is Sympathy for the Devil
There are so many of their songs I love...can't just pick 1! Some of my favs are Emotional Rescue, Angie, Mothers Little Helper, Sympathy for the devil and You can't always get what you want...
Just teasin' ya. I had NO idea there were people who didn't dig the Stones. (OK. Some of the cheerleaders I went to school with thought they were "old and nasty" but that's part of their charm. The Stones' charm, not the cheerleaders...)
I'm gobsmacked. Really.
Everybody I know loves the Stones. They're dynamic. It's really not just one band or one sound.
I think the best song that I like is "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction"!
So great to see you my friend!! The Stones are still ROCKIN! So is Aerosmith!! The are legends! I like Safisfaction too! Unfortunately, it's my theme song.
I enjoy any classic rock. They aren't my favorite, but certainly a band I listen to regularly. My favorite song would probably have to be "you can't always get what you want..."; at least from the Stones.
I'm a bigger fan of The Doors. I listen to them so much that their song swirl around in my head hourly! I just love Morrison.

I believe he's passed out high or drunk in bed with that many women, maybe.
In all seriousness though, they are a great band and I love several of their songs. Wild Horses is probably my favorite.

Wow. What do you like?

Sorry, P'Gell, I don't really care for them, either. I like a few of their songs, but I can certainly live without them.
As for Mick's conquests, he's almost 70--if he's been having sex since he was 18 that's 75 people a year. I think that for a rockstar on tour, it's completely (pardon the pun) doable.
