Time Traveler's Wife. The book was SOOO much better than the movie. And I'm glad I read it first, because the film would have confused the hell out of anyone who didn't read the book, in my opinion.

It's so hard to choose! The one that sticks with me the most is "A Prayer for Owen Meany" by John Irving. There was a film LOOSELY based on it a few years ago--"Simon Birch." I haven't seen the film, but the book was great.

"A Prayer for Owen Meany" is my boyfriend's favorite book of all time. He tells everyone about it.
