What was the first gaming system you ever owned?

I dono, I had the Sega nomad handheld console. And the Playstation 1 as well as the Nintendo 64. Original game boys. Some weird consoles that had the stick controler thing. Think that was atari or something..
We had older stuff around the house to, mainly because I have older brothers who were game geeks. Still are! Haha.

Game Boy Color, followed by the original PlayStation, or the other way around. Though, I also grew up with my parents' Atari--LOVE that system. I'm all about Key Stone Capers.

The first system that I personally owned was the Playstation. It was kind of odd that my dad bought me one for Christmas since my brother had one that I could play on. It was also a pain to actually get a chance to play on mine until I got my own tv, because there was usually someone watching tv in the living room.

Nintendo for me; I had to buy it with money I earned. My older brother had the atari *which he had to buy with his own money*

We had an Atari, but I was too young to pay attention to what kind it was.

I wish I still had it, it would go great with my giant old TV.

My memory isn't the greatest but you just reminded me I also had a Sega console, either Genesis or "Master System" I think, that had Alex The Kid as a pre-installed game on it. I used to love playing that haha

My first hand held was a GameGear I saved up for with paper route money and ended up paying for with many one dollar bills and a ton of change. My first actual system was the N-64 which I went halfsies on with my brother. So many hours of Zelda Oracle of Time and Golden Eye!

The first system I really used for a lot of gaming was a Sega Genesis (or Mega Drive, if outside of the US). I have many fond memories from that console.

The first system I played regularly was my grandparents' old Atari/Pong console, but the first one we owned outright (got it as a Christmas present) was an SNES.

It was an Atari with five built in games. Before the 2600. Mainly played Pong and Breakout. I loved Breakout.

I had a Playstation and the old-school, HUGE/heavy Gameboy around the same time. (It was outdated when we got it secondhand.)
