I confess that I may be out of the loop, but I'm pretty sure the original CSI and CSI: Las Vegas are one and the same .
I like the show, though I don't think it's great. I'm torn between the original characters of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, and the setting and cinematography of Miami.

Older episodes of CSI from when Grissom was still on it, but newer episodes of Miami because it's gotten quite good. But I'll watch all of them. They're all good.

You forgot Hawaii 5-0. It's also part of the CSI franchise.

I like Miami. My daughter, who actually got me into these shows, hates Miami (she can't stand "H") and only likes New York, with Las Vegas as a second.
They're all pretty formulaic, but I'll watch them if I have nothing better to do.

I liked CSI and used to watch it quite a bit. But then I found Criminal Minds and much prefer that show.

At this point, none of them really. I liked the original one set in Las Vegas when it had the whole original cast, but I'm not as into it anymore. I can watch New York if I have to, but I can't stand Miami because all Horatio Cain knows how to do is dramatically take off his sunglasses and move his sport coat back to put his hands on his hips. At least that's what it seems like to me. That and like, every character was just the Miami equivalent of the characters on the original.

You forgot, H also says, "Don't leave town." in that breathy whisper A LOT! My daughter and I will watch it and say it along with him and giggle like idiots, "OMG, he said it, he said it again." In fact, we say "Don't leave town!" every time they show him on the screen. He's so dramatic!

If either one of us drank, it could be a drinking game. Take a drink every time H either takes off his glasses, puts his hand on his hip, moving his suit coat, and double drink for "Don't leave town!"

I used to watch them faithfully, not anymore.
