I like cartoons, but I can only watch them for so long. I like sitcoms and shows with a continuing story line, which is what I usually watch when I turn on the TV and Jeopardy isn't on.

cartoons are really underrated. there was a lull period in the mid 2000's, especially on nick and cartoon network, but they've improved recently, with Dan VS, Adventure Time, MLP:FIM arguably chowder, a slew of adult swim cartoons and others.

Discovery and History Channel are my two favorites. Discovery runs a show called Curiosity, every Sunday night. Great series and packed full of information.

The good cartoons like Pinky and the Brain, Freakazoid... Or my guilty pleasures like Revenge, Game of Thrones, Spartacus, Eureka, and above all else... the creme de l'creme... Doctor Who. I so wish that there was more than thirteen episodes per series!!!! Oh and Stargate Atlantis and SG1. More scifi.
