Who here loves K-Pop?

...I have to know!

I am a huge K-pop fan and would love to find out who else is into it. How did you get introduced to it, and who is your favorite band/singer?

I randomly came across "Bubble Pop" on youtube, laughed so hard, and watched all the related videos. GD and TOP's "Knockout" sealed the deal. I have always been attracted to kitschy, fun, and upbeat things, and I can't imagine jogging without my mp3 player full of K-Pop.

I don't think I've heard much K-Pop, but if it's anything like the J-Pop I do listen to then I'd probably like it.
About the only K-Pop song I've heard is Gangnam Style...and that wound up on my iPod. It's so...catchy. @_@

I'm guessing you mean Korean pop, right? If so, I like this band called "Beast" and their song "Breath". Check out the youtube video, it's cute.

Yup, Korean pop. I really like Beast, "Breath" is excellent and I love their upbeat songs, like "Beautiful Night".

Thanks! <3 <3

there's a nice overlap between K-pop and J-pop. It's pretty common for bands from the opposite country to go on long tours in the other.

Might I suggest the band Shinee? They release songs in both Japan and Korea (and I think they are awesome).

Thanks for chatting!
