5 things that are holding you back, and how you can change them

I'm not sure how much weight each one of these holds as far as blanket statements go, but it was still interesting to read about the 5 things a lot of people do that hold themselves back, and how to change them. I've always been a procrastinator, but never really cared what people thought. I mean of course I was worried that my project might not be as great as my teacher might have liked to see, but I also knew that the best way to prevent that was to start working on it earlier. Sometimes that worked, sometimes it didn't.

What do you guys think about this article?

Habitually late-----that's me!!! I'm a producer that schedules productions and I'm always the last one to set!!! Does not male for a good start to the shoot . But most of the time I'm the boss, so I have that working in my favor

I can really agree/relate with the first 2 habits the article listed. I have convinced myself that I "work better when I'm under pressure" so I leave things to the last minute.

I also impulsively shop. I tell myself to save money, or wait, or whatever, but I always end up buying things (clothes especially) whenever I am feeling down, as a way to make myself happy, even temporarily.

And now that I think about it, the whole goal weight thing..ugh. I have lost 72 pounds in about a year, and am about 20 shy to my goal, and I consistantly eat bad foods, and don't work out, it almost feels like..if I do lose that additional 20, reach my goal, and i'm not "magically" happy and all that, then it's like I failed. But if I never reach that goal weight, then I always have something to blame if I'm unhappy..if that makes sense..or if that sounds crazy lol.

I'm also a procrastinator. I really enjoy the adrenaline rush of trying to make a deadline when I've put it off to the last minute. I sort of feel like it keeps the creative juices flowing.

A family member is chronically late, so late in fact that we had to start telling her to appear at least an hour before the actual event time. It's infuriating to have to wait on her. And it's always something stupid. She started coloring her hair too late, the cat threw up, she couldn't find her keys...annoying!
