9/11 commemorative wine

Contributor: Jul!a Jul!a
"A controversial wine that's being sold to commemorate the upcoming 10th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks for the symbolic sum of $19.11 is drawing heat for what critics pan as a tasteless ploy to capitalize on a tragedy."

After reading this article, I still have mixed feelings on it. 9/11 was a horribly tragic event and I can see both sides here. The winery claims that all the proceeds from these wines will go towards the National September 11 Memorial Museum and if that really is the case, then I'm ok with it.

What do you guys think? And please do try to keep it civil

I'm kinda mixed on it. It was a pretty horrible event and to make the wine equall 19.11$ That's... a bit far.

Meh. With all the products that came out directly related to 9/11 *days* afterwards, I find the furor over this particular one rather silly. So, commemorative quarters, pop music, window clings, pins, and so on: fine. Commemorative wine: OH MY GOD, YOU BASTARDS!!!!!
