Myriads of people have animals and pets named Stormy. I've only known one other person whose parents named her Stormy at birth, that was my eighth grade teacher's wife. It was spelled with an i and an e, so not exactly the same.
My name ranks 199th on the list of popular names for the year of my birth.

I came across my name while reading the TV Guide when I was younger and saw a character listed in "Highway to Heaven" with my exact name (both first and last). I never saw the episode.
Although, admittedly, my name has become rather popular for those born after 1985.
