Does it have as much in it as you would have hoped for, at this point? At what age do you think you want to start one, if you don't already have one?

My job offers a 401k plan, and once I have been there for 6 months I will be able to take part in it. I've been there 5 months now. I'll be 20 at the end of this month and will be starting my 401k as SOON as I'm able to.

I don't think you're ever too young for one. If you're lucky enough to have a job that offers it, why not take advantage?!

Yes, we both have accounts. We fund them regularly...and aggressively.

yes, every month it gets a deposit. It is sitting at a pretty good spot. The last big hit the market took brought it down a ways. But have been making up for it these past couple of years. I just hope it is all there when I retire, and the feds have not taken it all to pay for their over spending.

Yep, I put a little bit in every paycheck. It helps that I did that from the start, so I don't miss it
