My hubby and I quit smoking for almost 3 years and started back up about 6 months ago

I started smoking about 11-12 with my cousin. But then I quit before I even turned 18. I'm glad I did. I'll some some green though. I started drinking about 12ish. And I rarely drink now. I know to stop at 3-4 drinks because it makes me sick. And I drink like once every couple of months.

Started drinking and smoking at age 13
I switched to an electronic ciggy last July. Sad thing is that I quit smoking everytime I was preg. and then started up shortly after. My husband doesn't smoke.
Drinking, I rarely drink anymore. I don't have much of a desire. My husband enjoys a beer on his days off.

I don't really drink much never had but I had my first when I was 15. But smoking on the other hand I have been smoking since I was about 9.

I've had sips of alcohol when I was younger. I tried smoking once and hated it. I'll have an occasional drink here or there but I'm not much of a drinker. My stomach doesn't like it much.

I started drinking beer between 15 and 18! I later started dringing Rum which lead to my favorite Bourbon sometime around age 20. I NEVER took to smoking in any way!

Too young for both of them. 14 for cigarettes and 16 for alcohol. I still smoke but rarely drink anymore.

My first drink was when I was 17 or so. I had a green apple flavored wine cooler thing. I'm 24 now and I actually don't drink at all. Most people think I'm really strange for not drinking but I'm just not that into it I guess. I've also never EVER smoked before! Not even once. For the most part I'm pretty straight-edge if you know what I mean.

I come from Italian blood, so I probably had a sip or two of wine with dinner from a fairly young age. But I only started regularly drinking (and enjoying!) wine in the last year or so.

Started drinking before 10 (if by that you mean drinking wine "socially" during Christmas, my birthday, family dinners, when something good happened*, etc.)
Never smoke, don't want to try even.
I only drink socially now, or when I want to congratulate myself. I guess if I drank often, it wouldn't be that good.
* Though one time I had to drink after a funeral. It felt really weird; the person would have wanted us to stay happy but it still confused me at the moment.

I only drink socially/at parties, and have rarely drank to get drunk, but I started around age 16. And smoking right before that. Think I might have still been 15 when I started smoking.

I drank alittle bit in highschool until I was about 24. then I picked up the habit of drinking more often. I have only been drunk a few times. I just like to drink a beer before bed. they are nice in the summer when its hot.

I started drinking socially when I was 20. I don't do it often, and usually not enough to actually get drunk. As far as smoking goes, when I was about 21-22 I did it a few times (but only in cold weather), and haven't done it since. I have nothing against it, I just didn't care for it all that much.

I was introduced to alcohol at 15 at a friend's new year's party. Drank a good amount just from the bottle and everyone was impressed... that was an interesting night. wish I still had that in me, I can't stand hard liquor alone anymore.

I smoked when I was a teen a couple times, but I never inhaled. I didn't actually start REALLY smoking until I turned 21. As for drinking, I would sneak sips of hard liquor when I was younger and a can of beer once... but again, didn't really start drinking until I was 21. I don't really drink all that much now, especially since I've tried quitting smoking several times (mostly because when I drank, I NEEDED a cigarette in the other hand).

Started smoking at 17. Had my first cigarette at like... 12 maybe. Drinking since I was 16 but had my first drink way earlier. Growing up in a house hold with two alcoholic parents made life interesting.

I had a drink at 18 but I never really drank. I dont like drinking and I had a drag of a cigarette but never got into it since I have asthma. Other than that I was nicked named double D (nick name before that was D) Double D was for two reasons one was for Designated Driver...
