Am I the only one?

Contributor: DreamWolf DreamWolf
I always wondered about it if I am such a rare bird that I don't like fizzy drinks at all, and not only the drinks tasting like "plastic" (aka not something like a good juice, meaning ALL the known drinks like cola and the rest), but pretty much fizziness itself too...

Anyone else not liking some of them or none of them at all, or not liking fizzes?

I like some fizzy drinks, like lemonade, but for the most part fizzy drinks like coca cola make me feel ill.

Nope, you're not the only one. I also don't care for "fizzy drinks" at all.

I too am not a huge fans of fizzy drink, such as Coca Cola. When I drink it it makes my chest hurt, almost as if you have to hiccup, but you can't get it out!

I can go either way with fizzy or not. If I drink something that is supposed to be carbonated, like soda, I can only drink it that way. Flat soda is absolutely disgusting. But I love non-carbonated drinks also.

I like most sodas. The fizziness doesn't bug me (and if you need to burp, can be extremely helpful), and the only ones that taste like "plastic" to me are the diet varieties.

I did, however, go for most of my senior year of high school with only drinking water, milk, and the occasional juice. Once I started working I realized I kind of needed caffeine, and since I hate coffee, I turned to Pepsi and Coke. After going so long without drinking soda, the fizziness was actually painful for a short while before I got used to it again. So I can kind of understand where you're coming from.

Besides, a good juice can be absolutely wonderful. Welch's grape juice is just YUM!

I think I like fizzy drinks so much due to the carbonation. Sometimes I just want to drink something fizzy, though so many juices taste so much better.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!

Btw, a strong tea can make WONDERS too, like green tea, black tea, Earl Grey is very good for that too!

When I have a cup of green tea in the day and then sip my daily cup of coffee (slowly savoring it all day long always, sometimes I don't even drink it up all) my heart is about to jump out of my chest! So I keep green tea for days when I feel I have had too much coffee for the previous days, it is a wonderful break and keeps you going as hell!
