I have Panic Disorder which manifests in lots of different ways. I have a ton of phobias, one of which is being in large groups of people. I do okay one-on-one so long as I know the person.

I feel anxious and shy around people, but I've never been diagnosed with social anxiety.

Social agoraphobia (fear of large crowds of people), plus anxiety and a mild panic disorder. Medication has helped enough in which I don't start hyperventilating when faced with everyday life. I just feel very discomforted.

I think you'd be surprised at the number of people who have/have had issue with this. I have some social anxieties, I don't like picking up the phone if I don't know who it is, I feel uncomfortable in a lot of different situations.

No, but my anxiety level tends to go with high traffic driving.

Yes, I have social anxiety. Luckily it's not debilitating for me, it just makes it hard to make new connections.
